In this one day workshop each student will be introduced to the principles of industrial vision for Inspecting, Sensing, and ID Reading. We will review the capabilities and functioning of the Cognex Checker sensor and how it can do the job of multiple photo eyes in a single unit. The latest technology for ID reading for both 1D and 2D codes whether they are printed or directly marked on a part will be included. The importance of correct lighting and lensing will also be covered showing how features can be correctly inspected. Finally, each student will be hands on with Cognex's powerful Easybuilder software performing inspections and learning how to use the tools correctly.

It is recommended that each student bring the laptop they use for work to receive a free copy of all the latest software from Cognex as well as the sample images to practice on when the class is over. Please try to arrive a little early so the software can be installed prior to the class beginning.
