Job Description:
Position Summary:
Develop and design robotic systems tooling and ancillary equipment, including specialty machines, part conveyance and fixturing.
Duties and responsibilities:
Mechanical design from initial concept through detailing
Prepare design review documentation as directed by project leader
Determination and specification of purchased components
Vendor interfacing, including keeping up to date with new products
Creation of detailed part prints for manufacturing
Manufactured components material and finish specification
Required skills:
Mechanical Engineering Degree
Minimum 3 years automation experience or equivalent
Computer skills: Solidworks, AutoCAD, Ms Word, Excel
Understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, grinding, metal forming)
Candidate should be a self-starter and capable of self-direction
