Job Description

Responsibilities:

Design control systems using PLCs, HMIs, and other I/O devices
Design industrial electrical systems including field wiring of control systems and I/O interfaces
Generate schematic diagrams, panel layouts, and bills of material
Program PLC code (Ladder Logic and Function Blocks) and HMI screens
Simulate, test, and troubleshoot machinery control systems
On-site start-up support

Qualifications:

BSET or BSEE degree
Hands-on experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, RSLinx, ControlLogix) and HMIs (VersaView, PanelView), Field Device Networks, and Ethernet/IP based networks
Knowledge NFPA 79 and National Electrical Code (NFPA 70)
Written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interface with people on all levels
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Strong work ethic
Minimum 5 years experience preferred

Additional Considerations:

Understanding of material handling applications (robotics, conveyors, etc).
AutoCAD or DWGEditor
