Pneumatic Precision Slide
Festo has released the DGSL slide for precision applications in a compact package.
The DGLS is designed for ultra-precise sliding,picking and placing functions, even under high mechanical load. The key to previously undreamed-of precision: An innovative guide unit with a repetition accuracy of 0.01mm and linearity and parallelism in the 1/100mm range.
This is ensured by the optional clamping unit and the end-position interlock. This prevents lowering of loads onto workpiece carriers in the case of compressed air supply failure and provides protection in emergency-stop situations.
DGSL/ DGSL can be combined directly without adapter plates �in pick & place or piggyback configurations.The slides include precise interfaces to Festo's modular handling system.
8 sizes from 4 - 25 mm and strokes up to 200 mm. 3different end stop systems(shock-absorber variant, cushioned metal stops or polymerstops) provide the best solution for every application in terms of both technical features and cost effectiveness.A new intermediate stop for three positions is available.
