Advanced Technical Services Ice Cream Production Control
Ice Cream Control system utilizing Schneider Electric Quantum PLC system for process and production control. The system controls the transfer of product from eight storage tanks into the production filling area for retail packaging. The system also controls the CIP operations for the process equipment as well as provides chart recording and data storage of CIP process variables including conductivity, temperature, and flow for each CIP circuit. The supervisory control is programmed with Wonderware InTouch for plant operation as well as data storage. Local control of the processes is accomplished with a Proface touchscreen system from Xycom.
