Our proven work-horse is the MTL Open Systems Technology (MOST) control platform. MOST combines the best features of PLC and DCS platforms and is a better choice than either in a growing number of applications. Easily scalable from basic to advanced configurations by adding local I/O modules, ethernet based I/O, redundant power supplies, redundant processors, and even redundant networks. A single processor with socket open for 2nd (hot redundant) processor is shown. Plug in a 2nd processor and the 1st sets it up automatically, a "no brainer" even for the technically challenged!

MOST Process I/O can be mounted directly in harsh and hazardous applications. It is capable of withstanding the extreme temperature and corrosive environments of process applications, plus take full advantage of HART Instruments.

MOST Process I/O's operating temperature is -40°C to +70°C. The product meets ISA's stringent G3 corrosion resistance requirements for process control equipment and withstands extensive shock and vibration. Process I/O modules are available for virtually any process signal, including analog, thermocouple, RTD, potentiometer, discrete, high-speed counter, frequency and quadrature. And for hazardous applications, it provides the most cost-effective intrinsically safe I/O available by integrating intrinsic safety and sensor signal conditioning in one package

SafetyNet - SIL 2 Safety Solutions

SafetyNet is a comprehensive solution for Safety related applications, including:

SafetyNet is a SIL 2 safety system in compliance with IEC 61508, and is built on the same platform that is already widely used in process control applications.

Cost Effective SIL 2 Solution
SafetyNet achieves its SIL 2 rating without requiring the use of redundant I/O or redundant controllers, which enables SafetyNet to provide a very cost effective SIL 2 solution. Redundant controllers can be added to the system to provide greater system availability.
